		The history: The university was established on Feb 18th, 2008 according to court ruling 196/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister. Vo Truong Toan University is directly under the management of the Ministry of Education and Training. It offers majors of university, three-year college and two-year college level. The university also provides programs connecting form college to university level. This is the first University established at Hau Giang province. There are eight branches of learning in university degree, three branches of junior college and two-year college degree with the purpose of training talented people. The university is located on highway 1A, Chau Thanh A District, Hau Giang Province (7 km from Can Tho University 7km, 8 km from the center of Can Tho city)
