On October 17th, Vo Truong Toan University celebrated Hippocratic Oath ceremony for the new students of Medicine in 2020. The ceremony aimed at the new students to be aware of their responsibility in the special career.
The Board of Administrators, representatives from many departments of the school, and the new students of Medicine (course 13) joined the ceremony.

On behalf of the Board of Administrators, postgraduate Ho Nhat Mai Tram, Vice Rector of Vo Truong Toan University, gave a speech at the ceremony and repeated the Hippocratic Oath.
With the hope that young physicians penetrate the Hippocratic Oath, the board of administrators reminded: “As a student of Medicine – a doctor in the future – you have to be seriously aware of the honour and the responsibility since the first days at school. The purpose of studying medicine is to enrich knowledge and kindness for the health of the people, not to get rich in money or fame.”

In response to the two new students, other new students shouted “I swear”. The voice echoed, inspired everyone, and expressed the determination as well as enthusiasm of the new students who are willing to dedicate their lives to the medical career.
