Medical swearing-in and diploma awarding ceremony to new doctors and pharmacists in 2021

A grandly held ceremony with fireworks on Olympus Square became a grave moment recording more than 400 doctors and pharmacists of Vo Truong Toan University officially wearing a white blouse.

On March 7^th 2021, Vo Truong Toan University solemnly held a medical swearing-in and diploma awarding ceremony to more than 400 new doctors and pharmacists at Olympus Square.

Although the ceremony officially started at 17 o'clock, numerous properly-dressed students began to gather on the school yard from early afternoon.

Each group of students meeting on the graduation day quickly took some photos with their beloved university with a lot of beautiful memories. They shared a lot of their dreams and ambitions after graduation to start a new journey. The familiar path with scallop trees leading students to this modern European-style university is also the one that lifts them into life.

One special thing is that together with more than 400 new doctors, nearly 1000 parents and their relatives were also invited to the ceremony.

This meaningful action not only shows the concern of the school administrators, but also adds confidence to new doctors and pharmacists who expect a good future after hard-working academic years.

According to the approved program, the ceremony consisted of two main parts: The Medical Swearing-in Ceremony and The Diploma Awarding Ceremony.

In many countries, including Vietnam, the physician must read Hippocratic Oath when preparing the field for practice. This oath is read and vowed to follow by the Medical students during the graduation ceremony

Medical students of Vo Truong Toan University were deeply touched and honored to take the oath. This is a mark engraved with the teachings of the founder of modern medicine in the world. More than anyone else, the new doctors are most fully aware of the honor and responsibility of the physician - an arduous job that they were determined to pursue. They perceive deeply, always remember and implement the instructions that their predecessors taught about medical ethics and vow to serve people..

Vo Truong Toan University is very proud of being the first private university in Vietnam to be allowed to train in Medicine. Up to now, Vo Truong Toan University has had 3 courses of full-time medical students graduated and most of them have had jobs at reputable medical institutions in Vietnam.
