On the date of 24^th and 25^th July, 2021, in the Nghe An province, the Education Quality Assurance Council of the Education Quality Assurance Center – Vinh University organized the eighth session to evaluate the results of education quality assessment for Vo Truong Toan University.

Attending the meeting, there were the presence of Associate Professor, Dr Mai Van Trinh – Head of Quality Management Department (Ministry of Education and Training); Dr Nguyen Thai Son – Deputy Head of Quality Management Department (Ministry of Education and Training).

The Education Quality Assurance Council members include:

1. Dr. Trinh Dinh Quang – Education Assurance Center Director, Vinh University – Council Chairman.

2. Associate Professor, Dr Mai Van Chung – Education Assurance Center Deputy Director – Council Secretary.

3. Professor, Dr Dinh Xuan Khoa – Former Rector, Vinh University – Council Advisor.

4. Professor, Dr Mai Trong Nhuan – Former Director, Ha Noi National University  – Council Advisor.

5. Professor, Dr Nguyen Huy Bang – Rector, Vinh University – Council Member.

The Education Quality Assurance Council attended the eighth meeting

At the meeting, Dr Duong Dang Khoa – Vo Truong Toan University represented the self-assessment results report; the representative of the external audit team presented the report on the results of the external audit, which outlined the strengths and weaknesses and made recommendations for each specific standard. Then, The Council discussed the results of the self-assessment of Vo Truong Toan University as well as the results of the external assessment.

After a period of independent, devoted, and hard work, after the discussion, The Council conducted the secret ballot in order to grant a Resolution on the appraisal of the quality assessment results for Vo Truong Toan University. The result turned out that Vo Truong Toan University RECEIVED ACCEPTANCE of EDUCATION QUALITY STANDARDS with the passing rate at 100%, according to the latest set of quality assessment standards for higher education institutions of the Ministry of Education and Training (including 25 standards and 111 criteria).
